Zurich Kunst 12: KUNST 12 ZÜRICH is a contemporary visual art fair showcasing 80 international galleries. Over the past 17 years this art fair has grown into an important meeting point for collectors, gallery owners, curators, artists and art-lovers.
The fair’s visitors are accustomed to international high quality and cutting-edge art as Zurich is an already established hot-spot in the art world. Alongside traditional programmes of modern and contemporary art, there are also booths promoting the latest generation of new galleries. Most recently, the fair introduced the ZKB Art Award to provide a platform for galleries and young aspiring artists. From 8th – 11th November more than 20’000 visitors are expected to transform the 8000 m² former factory building into a vibrant art centre. For more information click here.
The Winterthur Short Film Festival: This is a festival of short films from a variety of countries: “Kurzfilmtage” have enjoyed huge popularity for years and this festival is growing in international recognition and in popularity with many of the evening events already sold out. What began in 1997 on a small scale andwas dedicated to local film-making has by now developed into the biggest short film festival in Switzerland. Year after year, more than 10’000 film addicts flock to the Casinotheater and Theater Winterthur. Mercedes Benz Fashion Days: Mercedes Benz Fashion Days Zurich is where national and international designers such as Roberto Cavalli, Julien Macdonald, Missoni, Alexander Wang and many more show their collections and it takes place from 7th – 10th November at Schiffbau in Zurich.
