Weeks ago happened The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Kiev, promoting peace and unveiling beautiful collections from emerging and trendy brands like Anna K, Marianna Senchina and Omelya. Anna K or Anna Kolomoets is the youngest of the bunch of designers with only 18 years old, she has been attracting lots of attention with her satirical tees and fun accessories (Anna Dello Russo is already a fan). Currently you can find her collections at top stores in Europe like Colette, the mecca of latest fashion in Paris, and on her website. Anna K Summer/Spring collection “Fashion Circus “is youthful, quirky and fresh with sophisticated pieces that you can easily dress up or down depending on the occasion. The collection balanced classic looks as delicate pleated pastel shirtdresses with daring pieces like the “in construction “print long-sleeved bodycon dress. Anna K SS15 is very Instagram worthy with many pieces that pop the eyes.

Omelya is a young fashion brand founded by Kostya Omelya and also one of the most promising talents of Ukraine, participating in various international trade shows and attracting the tastes of trend setters like Karolina Kurkova and Franca Sozzani.Kostya collection had a message to the fashion people, the designer advice was to slow things down, to meditate and relax, to stop a bit the overload of information ,we ‘re all addicted nowadays and chill a bit. His lineup reflected the mood of the collection with oversized shapes, confortable fabrics and pastel pink palette that brought calmness. Suits and Shorts in pajamas shapes were designed to embody a state of intimacy. Highlights to the feather details that amped up the line giving a lusty touch and softness. Minimalistic, feminine with one of kind design, Omelya SS15 collection was a great surprise.

Marianna Senchina showed her first collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Kiev, models strutted down the runway in pleated skirts, tops with ruffles, peplum structure and voluminous bomber jackets with pop art prints inspired in one of the leaders of this art movement, Roy Lichtenstein.Marianna debuted in the runway with a artsy and modern collection.
